indo adventure - day 8: just catch the wave
It was an early morning surf today - 5:45. When I asked one of the coaches about how I should stand up on the board, she said “Just catch the wave. Just focus on catching the wave.” Right…what does that mean?!? Realizing she wasn't going to clarify further, I decided to just try and do it. And I did! I eventually stood up, but I really tried to get a feel for the wave under the board, and basically boogie-boarded (stayed laying down) for the first 3 waves, and thoroughly enjoyed it. I kind of surprised myself when I stood up, but I felt like I had finally ‘caught the wave’, and could start thinking about all the other things. And there are so many other things as it turns out.

Bobo steals shoes to get you to play with him. Another tactic is placing his tennis ball on your chair. He’s very funny.

Pixie is an absolute sweetie and loves air conditioning and tries to sneak into rooms.

Chilli is called chilli because she loves to chill.
